Melamine, Decorative Display Ware

Melamine, Decorative Display Ware

c. 1970s. Melamine, decorative display ware. Platter and bowl. The platter has two large daisy heads surrounded by what looks like Tithonia leaves. The bowl has stylized flowers, which we think are peonies. There are marks on the platter. The bowl has made in japan sticker on the base. The idea with these bowls is that the simulate copper engraved bowls popular in the last century. These bowls are light weight and would lend themselves to service with fruits or on display on, say, a Parker cabinet. Please look at the images carefully as they form part of the description. Materials: Melamine Size: Platter bowl 30.5cm x 7cm high; Bowl 27cm wide x 8cm high Item code: 39-Arm-2.5x-Meljp
